Australia has picked a total of 17 players for the WTC final led by regular captain Pat Cummins. After the WTC final, the same squad will also appear in the Ashes series against England. The Aussie team will play the WTC final against India from June 6 to 11 and the Ashes series against England from June 16. Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has returned to the team fully fit. The squad announced to play in both the countries.. is fully loaded with their experienced players for bowling and batting.
Players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland were the fast bowlers in the Aussie camp for the WTC and Ashes series. Along with them, spinner Todd Murphy, who made his debut against Team India, and veteran Nathan Lyon are also a part of this squad. Similarly, all-rounders like Cameron Green and Mitchell Marsh are also ready to play against Team India and England.
David Warner is back in the team
David Warner did not perform well in the recent Border Gavaskar Trophy series held in India. As a result, he lost his place in the team after the first test.
