Wrestlers, who have leveled allegations of sexual harassment and intimidation against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, have expressed displeasure over the government’s decision to set up a monitoring committee to look into the allegations leveled against the sports administrator. Didn’t consult them. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday announced the formation of a five-member monitoring committee headed by boxer MC Mary Kom. This committee will also look after the day-to-day work of the Wrestling Federation of India apart from probing the allegations leveled against the WFI president. Other members of the committee include Olympic medalist wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, former badminton player and Mission Olympic Cell member Trupti Murgunde, former TOPS CEO Rajagopalan and former Sports Authority of India (SAI) executive director (team) Radhika Sriman.
