He commented that there is no progress on the issue of privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant. Before that, they said that they are working to strengthen RNIL. He said that the process of working of the plant at full capacity is going on. He said that they will discuss these with RINL management and labor unions. Union Minister of State for Steel Faggan Singh Kulaste visited the Vizag Steel Plant on Thursday morning. After that he had a meeting with the management. Faggan Singh Kulaste speaking to the media on this occasion stated that the privatization of Vizag steel plant is not going ahead. However, Faggan Singh also spoke about the fact that the Telangana government is showing interest in placing a bid. He commented that Telangana government’s participation is only a move.

The case of privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant is already creating a furore in the Telugu states. CM KCR who has decided to bid has put special focus on it. Singareni officials were also sent to Visakhapatnam to examine the feasibility of placing a bid. At this moment, Union Minister of State for Steel Faggan Singh Kulaste made these comments, it became interesting.
