The CBI investigation of YS Bhaskara Reddy and Udaykumar Reddy in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy ended on the first day. While both of them were interrogated for five and a half hours, MP Avinash Reddy was interrogated for more than 8 hours by the CBI officials.

Avinash’s lawyer raised the judgments of the Supreme Court saying that it is illegal to include him as an accused by word of mouth. However, the High Court considered the points raised by Avinash Reddy’s lawyer.
