Visakhapatnam Bhimili Beach
Strange lights were seen at Bhimili Beach in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (April 9) night. These lights enthralled the visitors along the Visakhapatnam coast. The waves lapping at the sea shore glistened blue in the moonlight. The never-before-seen ocean waves glistening blue is now the talk of the town. The spot where the waves hit also turned blue, making the visitors even more surprised. This strange light was seen at Visakha-Bhimili beach after 8 pm. Similar lights were seen along the coast. A large number of residents of Visakhapatnam reached the coastal area to witness this phenomenon. Some have also taken videos and shared them on social media. Photos related to this are currently going viral on social media.
Visitors say that the winds blowing across the sea at that time are also unusual. It was said that the wind was cold for a while and then hot again in a few moments. Visitors revealed that this never happened. In fact, it is well-known that fish, snails, crabs and other creatures like algae and jellyfish also live in sea waters. Experts believe that the blue color of the sea is due to marine organisms called bioluminescence. It is also estimated that similar situations are likely to arise due to major changes in the climate. In general, such strange scenes are often seen in the coastal areas of Puerto Rico, San Diego, Florida, and Japan. In 2019, similar blue lights appeared off the coast of Chennai. Similar scenes are occasionally witnessed in the sea coasts of Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andaman, West Bengal and Lakshadweep. Recently, the residents of the city are feeling a bit of surprise and panic as blue lights have been seen on Visakhapatnam-Bhimili coast as well.
