In the world of sports, we see many stubborn players. They forget all the pains and injuries… they get immersed in reaching their goal. Hands, feet and face are bleeding…they continue to play. However, such people are rarely seen. Recently, a video of a bowler is going viral on social media. Even though the finger bone was twisted when the ball hit him, he was ready to bowl in no time.
Somerset bowler Rolf van der Merwe suffered a broken finger while stopping the ball. He tried to stop the reverse ball in his own bowling. But, the ball hit his finger. As soon as the ball was hit, Merv was in pain. You can see in the video that his finger was twisted.
With Physio entry.. Bowler into the ring..
Roelof van der Merwe is an absolute trooper: dislocates his finger brilliantly stopping a ball, gets it put back in place, and sprints back to bowl! 😎

It didn’t take long for Marv to start bowling again. He pointed his finger at the physio. At the same time the physio pulled his finger and corrected it slightly. Marv then completed his over. Marv injured his finger while stopping Matt Christian’s shot.
