Coming to the story… Kumaresan alias Suri works as a police driver in a hilly area. There are regular encounters between members of the Praja Dal and the police. Efforts are on to nab Prajadalam leader Perumal alias Vijay Sethupathi. But in the process, the driver Kumaresan falls in love with a young Tamil girl alias Papa Bhavani Sri who lives in the forest. But in the process of searching for the leader Perumal.. along with all the people living in the hill area.. Tamilarasi is also arrested and tortured by the police.. Kumaresan cannot bear it. And what did Kumaresan do when he could not see the girl he liked? What role did Kumaresan play in the hunt for Perumal? Finally found Perumalan? Or? That is the rest of the story.

In addition to that.. the scenes of police torturing the innocent hill people for Perumal.. will bring tears to everyone’s eyes. Reminds me of reality. Otherwise.. Stretching scenes.. Slow narration.. Too many Tamil smells is a big minus of this movie.
Suri, who has been making people laugh for years as a comedian, played a serial role as a police driver in this. In other words, Suri lived the role of Kumaresan. In addition to that, Vijay Sethupathi in the character of Peramal is amazing as always. Along with these two, the rest acted according to their limits. Ilayaraja’s music is impressive.
