This includes the new small electric car Comet from MG, Maruti Suzuki These include the Franks compact crossover and the Citroen C3 Aircross compact SUV. 1. MG Comet EV: MG Motors is going to bring its new Comet EV prices on April 26, 2023. It is a 2-door, 4-seater electric car that is based on the Wuling Air EV sold in Indonesia. The car measures 2974mm in length, 1505mm in width, 1631mm in height, and has a 2010mm wheelbase. It is going to be the smallest car in the country. The car stands out due to its compact size, futuristic design, boxy looks. It gets a dual 10.25-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a two-spoke steering wheel with controls like Apple Car Play. The car is expected to get a 20kWh battery pack. Due to this, the distance is likely to be more than 200 km.
2. Maruti Suzuki Franks: There is no information about the launch date of the Maruti Suzuki Franks yet. But it is expected to launch in the country next week. This compact crossover SUV comes in Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta, Alpha trims in the country. It gets 1.0 liter turbo petrol, 1.2 liter petrol engine options. The turbo petrol engine produces 100bhp of power and 147.6Nm of torque. The petrol engine is capable of producing 90bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. Its top-end Alfa trim gets features like 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 360-degree camera, cruise control, leather-covered steering wheel, head-up display, dual-tone interior colors. It will be sold through Nexa dealerships. Its ex-showroom price is likely to start from Rs.8 lakh.
3. Citroen C3 Aircross: French automaker Citroen is going to introduce its new compact SUV C3 Aircross on April 27, 2023. The car is built on the CMP modular platform. This car competes with cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The length of this car is 4.2 meters. Its design is similar to the C3 hatchback. Also, its interior layout and features are similar to the C3 hatchback. It gets a 1.2 liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that can produce a maximum power of 110bhp, 190Nm of torque. It is only available with a manual gearbox option.
