It is known that Telangana State Government has recently released Group-4 notification for 8,039 posts. However, as previously the government had announced that it would announce 9,168 posts, there is currently a discussion going on to eliminate about 1208 posts. It is noteworthy that all the removed posts are related to the Panchayat Raj Department.
The Panchayat Raj Department has set aside these posts due to technical problems and not getting correct information from the districts at the field level. With this, about 1,208 jobs have been removed from the Group-4 job notification and only 8,039 posts have been released. Due to this, TSPCC realized that if the announcement of Group-4 is delayed, there is a risk of serious loss to the job seekers, and the advertisement has been issued only for the remaining posts. Out of the total posts, 19 posts have been increased in the revenue department, bringing the number of jobs under this department to 2,096. The posts in the Women and Child Welfare Department have also increased to 77.
The first commission said that a total of 9,168 Group-4 posts will be filled in about 25 government departments. As part of this, the commission has informed the government that 1,245 jobs are vacant in the Panchayat Raj department. In this order, TSPSC has advised to meet with the respective departments and give proposals within the deadline. It has also warned in advance that those posts will be canceled if the proposals are delayed. However, as of the announcement of Group 4 jobs, due to lack of adequate details from the Panchayat Raj Department, the posts under that department were set aside.
