DEO Renukadevi said on Thursday (April 13) that the April 16 entrance exam is being conducted to provide admissions to 194 model schools across the state of Telangana. He said that the examination for class 6 will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and for classes 7, 8, 9 and 10 the entrance exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. He said that the hall tickets for the entrance examination of the respective classes have already been released. On the day of the exam, she advised the students to get their hall tickets and reach their allotted exam centers an hour early. Mobile phones and electronic items of students, staff and invigilators will not be allowed in the examination center. It is advised that strict action will be taken if anyone violates the rules.
Around 70,041 students will appear for this exam across the state. The results will be declared on May 15. Admissions are provided in the respective model schools on the basis of the ranks obtained in the entrance examination. Classes will start from June 1.
