Tirumala: TTD’s key instructions for devotees going to Tirumala to visit Vaikuntha Dwara. TTD says devotees not to come to Tirumala for Vaikunta Ekadashi darshan without Sarva Darshana Tokens

The process of issuing Sarvadarshan Tokens for common devotees going for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan will be started from January 1. Counters are open 24 hours. To this extent, Sarvadarshan devotees will be issued tokens for Ekadashi darshan through 92 counters set up in 9 areas of Tirupati.

The TTD officials are making arrangements with the expectation that a large number of devotees will come to Tirumala Kshetra on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi on 2nd January along with New Year. Many instructions have been given to the devotees who come for darshan at Vaikuntha in the wake of the Corona outbreak warnings. Moreover, the common devotees who come for darshan through Vaikuntha have been asked to follow the instructions of the TTD officials, have darshan of Srivari, and finish the yatra comfortably.

Vaikuntha gate will be kept open for 10 days. As many devotees as possible will be given Darshan of Swami. About 8 lakh devotees will get a chance to have darshan of Lord Swami. However, all the devotees who go to Tirumala Swami’s darshan must wear masks. Personal control and sanitization should be followed.

He said that 4.5 lakh tokens will be issued to Sarvadarshanam devotees. Arrangements have been made to distribute Annaprasad, drinking water, milk and tea to the devotees without any hassle at the token issuing centers. Srivani Trust has issued tickets online to the devotees at the rate of 2 thousand per day. The process of issuing tickets through offline has been stopped.

Allotment of accommodation rooms on advance basis from 29th December to 3rd January has been cancelled. Moreover, it has been clarified that letters of recommendation should be received on Vaikuntha Ekadashi and Dwadashi days i.e. on 2nd and 3rd of January. Annaprasada will be distributed from 6 am to 12 pm for ten days from Ekadashi.

Sarvadarshanam devotees will be allowed to have darshan on January 2nd Ekadashi day from 6 am. The TTD officials asked the devotees to come to Tirumala on the date on the tokens.

Moreover, on the occasion of Ekadashi, the issuance of Sarvadarshan tokens on December 31 and January 1 has been cancelled, and devotees are advised to make travel arrangements keeping this in mind. In order to facilitate the devotees who come for darshan through Vaikuntha, extra laddu stocks have been kept in the laddu shops and additional staff have been appointed at Kalyanakatta to ensure that the devotees do not face any difficulties. Those without tokens are allowed on the hill but are not allowed to have darshan.
