As part of the Make a Wish program, the police showed their humanity by fulfilling the young woman’s wish. According to the police, Swathi is the daughter of Dharawat Champla-Bhubha couple of Jagan Thanda, Chivvenla mandal of Suryapet district. She is very active in sports as well as studies. Swati, who was in the second year of her degree, suddenly got fever. Jaundice and then pancreatitis turned into cancer. Parents felt that Swati’s condition was getting out of hand as she was pushing the period with medication.
The parents asked if the disease that comes with a child fighting cancer is not going away but if you have any wishes please let me know. Parents were suddenly shocked by the young woman’s answer. Swati said that she wanted to talk to Minister Jagdish Reddy and have lunch with him. Hearing this, a team of doctors took it to the attention of the minister. Responding to that, Minister Jagdish Reddy had breakfast with her and her family members.

In this order, Swathi pleaded with Minister Jagadish Reddy that she wanted to become a police officer. The Minister directed District SP Rajendra Prasad to fulfill Swati’s wish. Chivvemla police came forward to fulfill the wish. She took charge as SS in Chivvenla police station in full uniform. Worked as Police Station SHO for one day.
On this occasion, Swati gave instructions to the police about law and order. Swati, who was working as an SSI, reached her village as a police officer at night. She thanked Chivvenla police for fulfilling her wish. She said that she will try to move forward in life with the courage given by the police.
Speaking on the occasion, District SP Rajendra Prasad wished Swati a speedy recovery.
