Tension continues near Kamareddy Collectorate. Farmers are trying to penetrate the collectorate. There was tension as they tried to push the barricades forward. The farmers of the villages to be merged in the municipality.. along with their family members, gathered in front of the collectorate against the master plan. The police barricades were also pushed aside and the collectorate was besieged. They are chanting slogans saying “Rythu Gosa listen sir”.

Farmer Ramulu committed suicide yesterday because of the loss of land in the master plan. With this, the concerns became more intense. Under the auspices of the Rythu Aikya Karyacharana Samithi, a large number of agitations took place. Collectorate siege program was undertaken as a huge rally. Kamareddy is demanding the cancellation of the new municipal master plan.

If this is the case.. Farmers attacked Adlur Sarpanch Janarthan. The farmers and villagers who expressed their anger over the non-resignation of the Sarpanch attacked him. Sarpanch Janarthan says that he was attacked without listening to him and that the MLA had promised that the lands would not be lost. On the other hand, Adlur Ellareddy’s governing body resigned. 9 ward members including subsarpanch have resigned from their posts.

Minister KTR’s response..

Minister KTR responded to the concern of Kamareddy farmers. The minister asked the officials about the problems of the farmers who are agitating about the industrial zone. The minister asked the officials why they could not explain this matter to the farmers that the draft of the master plan is under change. KTR suggested that there will be a referendum. Minister KTR said that government exists to help people and master plan is for urban development.

BJP MLA Fire..

Meanwhile, BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao came under fire over the Kamareddy Industrial Zone issue. They demanded that the government release a white paper on how many industrial zone lands have been converted into residential zones since 2014.
