BJP MP Tejaswi Surya’s incident of opening the emergency door of IndiGo flight. Even though Surya explained that he had done it by mistake and apologized for it, the dispute was not resolved. The Congress criticized the Center for hiding this matter.
The issue of opening the emergency door of the Indigo flight has become a big headache for BJP MP Tejaswi Surya. Tejaswisurya said that he opened the emergency door of the plane by mistake. He said he is sorry for causing trouble to people. But if a child is made an MP, it will be the same, Karnataka Congress leaders are lashing out at the BJP. The incident that took place on the 10th of last month in the Chennai-Tiruchi Indigo flight came to light late. IndiGo said in a statement on Tuesday that a passenger on the flight had mistakenly opened the emergency exit.
It is also stated that the passenger has apologized for this. However, the Congress revealed that the passenger was BJP MP Tejaswi Surya. The Congress has alleged that the incident happened before the take-off so that the accident could have been avoided or the lives of the passengers would have been threatened.
The Congress leaders were furious that the government had hidden the Tejaswi Surya affair. Civil Aviation DGCA has responded to this and clarified that the incident has come to their notice and there is no safety lapse. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also responded to the matter. He said that Tejaswisurya opened the door by mistake and apologized for that.
The incident happened on the ground. Tejaswi Surya himself disclosed the mistake to the flight crew. The flight took off after all the protocols were completed. After all, Tejaswi Surya, the national president of the BJP Yuva Morcha, got involved in this affair. He gave Congress a new weapon during the Karnataka elections.
