However, everyone was surprised when he played a brilliant innings in the re-entry. Kedar Jadhav played a storming innings of 283 runs in the Ranji Trophy match. Jadhav scored this double century in the match against Assam at the DY Patil Academy ground.
Jadhav scored 283 runs off just 283 balls. His strike rate stood at 100. Jadhav hit 12 sixes and 21 fours in his storming innings. When Jadhav came to the crease, Maharashtra lost two wickets for 95 runs. But this right-handed batsman blocked the attack of the Assam bowlers.
Kedar Jadhav played a first class match after a gap of three years. In his first re-entry match, the player scored a double century. Kedar completed his double century in 207 balls. He scored 250 runs off 258 balls. This player missed his triple century. Had Kedar Jadhav scored a triple century, it would have been the second triple century of his first-class career. Jadhav’s highest score was 327 runs.

The stormy batsman from Maharashtra has been away from Team India for the past 3 years. Jadhav played his last international match in February 2020. He was dropped from Team India due to poor form. Jadhav did not play a single match in 2022 as his bat was not working in IPL. No team bought Jadhav in the 2023 IPL auction.
