Amid IPL 2023, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a key update regarding Team India fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer. It is known that Bumrah has been suffering from injury for a long time. Due to this he stayed away from the cricket field. Bumrah’s back surgery was a success. He is now recovered from the pain. Apart from this, BCCI also provided information about Iyer’s injury through a tweet.
Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will play his last international match in September 2022. Since then, Bumrah has been away from the cricket field due to injury. With this, Bumrah is out of the entire tournament of IPL 2023.
Doctors advised fast bowler Bumrah to start rehabilitation after 6 weeks of surgery. The BCCI said Bumrah has started his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
