Stock Market Opening: The Indian stock market opened with a decline today i.e. on 25 December amid mixed global signals. Today both the benchmark indices of the stock market are trading in the red mark. Today, the 30-share major benchmark index BSE Sensex opened at a level of 60,834.73 with a fall of 79.94 points. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange ie NSE opened at a level of 18,093.35 with a fall of 24.95.

Around 10:05 am, the Sensex was seen trading at 60,596.77 with a loss of 381.98 points, or 0.63%. While the Nifty is trading at a level of 17,995.55 with a decline of 122.75 points i.e. 0.68%.

Tata Motors, Cipla, Bajaj Auto, Grasim Industries and Maruti Suzuki were major gainers in today’s early trade. On the other hand, Adani Enterprises, HCL Technologies, Adani Ports, Larsen & Toubro and IndusInd Bank are trading with losses today.

If we talk on sectoral basis, then in today’s business, selling is being seen in the shares of companies of finance, oil and IT sectors. However, during this period, the shares of the auto sector are seeing a boom.

On the previous day, the Sensex closed on the green mark with a slight gain of 37.08 points i.e. 0.061%. At the same time, the Nifty closed at the level of 18,104.80 with a decline of 13.75 points i.e. 0.076%.

According to exchange data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) continued to sell in the stock market on Tuesday. During this, he has sold Indian shares worth Rs 760.51 crore.
