Devotees flock to Sabarimala, the famous temple of Kerala. As the Makar Jyoti is approaching… devotees are coming in large numbers to have a glimpse of Swami. The Kerala High Court has asked the Travan Core Devaswam Board to tell what arrangements have been made on the occasion of Makar Vilakku.

Since the beginning of the new year, devotees have been coming in large numbers to visit Sabarimala Ayyappa. The hills of Sabari are rejoicing with the remembrance of Ayyappa’s name. As the traffic is increasing day by day, the queue lines are full of devotees. It takes ten hours to visit. It is estimated that more than one lakh devotees visit Swami every day. The Kerala High Court Division Bench has asked the Travancore Devaswam Board to tell what arrangements have been made to meet the needs of the devotees as Makara Vilakku is in the week.

Responding to this issue, the board said that they have made large-scale donation arrangements. As there is a possibility of increasing number of pilgrims walking on foot in the coming days, we have made all the facilities available for them. The Traven Core Devaswam Board told the court that the transport between Nilakkal and Pamba has also been adequately prepared. Not only that.. After two years devotees are coming in large numbers.. there is a danger of stampede. So let no one rush. Wherever they are there.. through the view points.. the Kerala government suggested that Makara Jyothi should be visited.
