They are warning that illness will come due to non-compliance of standards in the manufacturing process and use of inferior materials. As a result, there is a risk of diarrhea, food poisoning and constipation. Actually the main raw material for making rusk is Bombay coal. But rusk is made in bakeries by mixing maida flour in large quantity and Bombay rava in small quantity. That’s why after eating rusk.. it takes more time to digest. It also causes weight gain.
Caramel food color is added to give the rusk that color. It is good for health. Some chemicals are used in the rusk to preserve it for a long time. Inferior ghee or palm oils are used. Eating rusks made with low quality oil can harm heart health. The risk of blood clots in the blood vessels increases. Gluten is high in rusk. If celiac disease patients eat rusk, there is a risk of damage to the small intestine.
