But Uttarakhand Police says all these are rumours. Immediately after the accident, the belongings belonging to Pant were handed over to his family members, police said. After the first treatment at the hospital, Rishabh Pant himself told the SP that except for one bag, all the other things in the car were burnt. The Haridwar police claimed that the suitcase, cash, bracelet and chain recovered from the incident site were given to Pant’s mother in the hospital.
