PM Modi visited Odisha. The Prime Minister first reached the site of the Balasore train accident. He went to the hospital to visit the injured. More than 278 people have died in this terrible train accident so far. Around 1,000 passengers were injured in this accident. It is one of the deadliest train accidents in the country.
Prime Minister Modi reached the spot and held a meeting with the officials. Prime Minister Modi reviewed the rescue operations at the accident site. A preliminary investigation has revealed that in the worst train accident in Odisha, Coromandel Express entered the loop line and rammed into a goods train which was stopped there instead of the main line before Bahanagar Bazar station. The coaches of the Bangalore-Howrah Superfast Express overturned after colliding with the coaches of the Coromandel Express which were scattered on the adjacent track.
