ICC Rankings: Mohammad Siraj has been bowling brilliantly in the ODI format for the last one year. With this, he became the number one bowler in the world in the latest ICC ODI rankings.
Team India: After the ongoing ODI series between India and New Zealand, Mohammad Siraj has now become the number one bowler in the world. The fast bowler has occupied the first position in the latest ODI rankings released by ICC. Siraj has finally been rewarded for his brilliant bowling over the past year. Siraj took the first spot by pushing back New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult. This is the first time that Siraj is number one in ODI format.
Mohammad Siraj made his ODI debut in the year 2019. But after some time he was dropped from the team. In February last year, Siraj made a comeback in this format. Since then he has been the most reliable bowler of Team India. Siraj has played 20 matches since his return. In that he took 37 wickets. Especially in the powerplay, Siraj was seen troubling the batsmen.

Siraj is rushing with dangerous bowling..
Siraj took nine wickets in the recent three ODI series against Sri Lanka. He wreaked havoc on the Sri Lankan batsmen. Meanwhile, he took four wickets in the first match of the series against New Zealand. He played for the first time in his native Hyderabad and showed his ability. After this series, Siraj is now number one with 729 rating points. On the other hand, Australian fast bowler Josh Hazelwood is in second place with 727 points and Kiwis fast bowler Trent Boult is in third place with 708 points. Along with Siraj, Shami also got a big advantage in the ranking. He climbed 11 places and reached the 32nd position.

Talking about batsmen, Babar Azam is still number one. But three Indian batsmen have joined the top 10. Shubman Gill, who scored a double century against New Zealand, has moved up 20 places to sixth place. He is currently ahead of Rohit Sharma (8th place) and Virat Kohli (7th place).
