Shardul Thakur finished in 20 balls. Shardul came in to bat after Andre Russell got out for zero. Shardul, who hit two consecutive sixes in the over bowled by Michael Bracewell, completed his fifty in the 17th over. This is the joint fastest fifty of this IPL season. In this sequence, Rajasthan Royals Jos Buttler equalized. Buttler completed his fifty in just 20 balls against Hyderabad.

Gurbaz played huge shots in the powerplay. After that he finished the innings after the fall of the first wicket and completed his half century. He scored 57 runs in 44 balls and was caught out.
