Nominations are in full swing in the Karnataka Assembly elections. CM Baswaraj Bommai nominated as BJP candidate from Shigaon constituency. He said that once again the people of Karnataka will bless the BJP in any situation. Baswaraj Bommai said that the people of Karnataka do not believe the false accusations of the opposition and said that the BJP will win more seats than before.

On the other hand, former CM Jagdish Shettar is ready to announce his future activities as the BJP leadership has not decided on his candidature in Hubli. He is thinking of contesting as an independent. Shettar said that the High Command will be given time till Sunday. Shettar warned that BJP may lose in 25 constituencies if he is not given ticket. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi tried to please him.
On the other hand, all the parties have stepped up the campaign. Rahul Gandhi will attend the meeting in Kolar tomorrow. The party high command has given clarity that senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah will contest from Varuna constituency. Siddaramaiah thought to contest from Kolar as well. Congress has released the third list with 43 people. Laxman Savadi, who joined the Congress from the BJP, has been allotted the Atani seat.
