Kannada Kanthirava late Rajkumar’s daughter-in-law and Sandalwood superstar Shivrajkumar’s wife Geeta Shivrajkumar will join the Congress party today (April 28) afternoon. She will wear the Congress scarf under the leadership of PCC chief DK Shivakumar. Geetha Shivraj Kumar will campaign on behalf of her brother Madhu Bangarappa who is contesting as Congress candidate from Sorab constituency in this assembly election. Another brother Kumara Bangarappa is contesting as a BJP candidate from the same constituency. He is currently the sitting BJP MLA here. Geeta Rajkumar is no stranger to politics. She is the daughter of former Chief Minister of Karnataka Bangarappa. He also contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections on behalf of the Janata Dal (Secular). His wife Geetha joined the Congress Shivrajkumar Justified. He announced that he will go campaigning with his wife. With this, opinions are being expressed that the Congress party has got a boost in this election.
On the other hand, actor Sudeep, who is campaigning on behalf of BJP candidates, responded to this issue. In a special chitchat with TV 9 Kannada, he conveyed his wishes to Geetha Shivrajkumar, who is campaigning for Congress candidates. He also congratulated actress Ramya. Karnataka assembly elections will be held on May 10. BJP president Amit Shah will campaign in Dharwad, Gadag and Davangere districts today. Also, Rahul Gandhi will visit Kalburgi.
