It has ordered to stop the use of the controversial Varaharupam song in theaters, OTT, digital streaming. In its injunction order, the court held that there had been an infringement under the Copyright Act. The Kerala court has issued an order to stop the Varaharupam song from Kantara in theaters, OTT and digital streaming platforms. It is already known that controversy is raging over this song. The court said that these orders were issued in accordance with the Copyright Act. First Additional District Court Judge K E Salihi issued these orders. The court said that Varaharupam song credit should be given to music band Taikudam Bridge and Mathrubhumi Printing. These orders were issued based on Navrasam track. The court said that Navarasam had copied the track and made a draft. It is known that the movie Kantara was released in September last year. Since then there have been copyright allegations on the Varaharupam song. The court said that the music director admitted that he created the Varaharupam song with inspiration from Navarasam composed by Taikudam Bridge.
