There are many varieties of millets but today let’s learn how to make pearl millet dosa or kambu dosa or bajra (garnish) dosa.

How to do..

Pearl millets, millets and rice should be taken in equal quantity. First put rice and millet in a big bowl and wash it well at least three times. In another bowl, take minas and wash them well. Now soak both of these for about 4 hours. Soak rice and millets in one bowl and gram flour in another bowl. After soaking, put them in a grinder and add some water to make a soft flour batter. Then mix all the flours in a bowl and leaven these soft doughs in a warm place. Fermented dough should be used to make doshas. If you want it to be soft instead of crispy, add more water and salt to taste. Now heat the dosa pan, grease it with oil or ghee and make the dosa. Drizzle oil and fry the dosa on both sides. That’s all millet dosa is ready, season it with your choice of chutney.
