PBKS vs GT: Indian Premier League 16th edition 18th match will be played today. Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings and Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans will clash in this match at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali.
Punjab Kings have won two out of the three matches they have played and are ranked sixth with a run rate of -0.281. Also, the GT team has won two and lost one out of three matches played and is fourth on run rate (+0.431).
Apart from skipper Shikhar Dhawan and Prabh Simran, who are the openers in the Punjab team, everyone else is failing. The openers are not able to score as many runs as they did.
Despite having dangerous batsmen like Mathew Short, Jitesh Sharma, Sam Curran, Sikander Raja and Shahrukh Khan in the team, no one is contributing. In bowling, Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, Nathan Elos and Rahul Chahar were also not seen as wicket takers.
Although the GT team lost in the last match, they are still strong. Captain Hardik is likely to play in today’s match as he has recovered from illness.
