As part of IPL 2023, a match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata teams will be held today (April 16). The match will start at 3.30 PM on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In this match, Mumbai Indians players will enter the ring with Mumbai Indians women’s jersey. There is a strong reason behind Rohit Sena wearing the Mumbai Indians women’s jersey. The Mumbai players will wear this jersey as part of the Education and Sports for All campaign (ESA) run by Reliance Industries. ESA’s main objective is to provide adequate support to girls in education and sports. To celebrate ESA Foundation Day, Mumbai Indians players will play a match in women’s jersey today to inspire girls.

Nita Ambani said that special arrangements have been made for this special match. The match will be shown live to 19 thousand children of 36 NGOs. It also includes 200 disabled children. 500 private buses and 2 thousand special volunteers have been prepared to transport the children to the Wankhede ground. Moreover, one lakh food packets and water facility have also been provided to feed them. All the children who come to watch the match will anchor the Mumbai team with ESA t-shirts.

Mumbai Indians women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur will also make noise on behalf of the girls for this match. Also, Harman will be present along with Rohit during the toss of the match. Nita Ambani said.
