Youngest Players to hit IPL Century: English batsman Harry Brooke added his name to a special record list by scoring a century in the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday (April 14). By scoring a century in this match, he became the fourth youngest foreigner to score a century in the IPL. Three veteran players have joined this list before him.
Quinton de Kock became the youngest foreign batsman to score a century in IPL. Quinton scored a century in the IPL at the age of just 23 years and 122 days. He played this century innings for Delhi Capitals. Australian veteran David Warner is in second place here. Warner scored a century at the age of 23 years and 153 days while playing for Delhi Capitals.
The third place in this record list belongs to Proteas batsman David Miller. Miller scored a century in the IPL at the age of 23 years and 330 days. Miller was then part of the Punjab Kings team. Now Harry Brooke has also joined this special list. He is fourth. Brook scored an IPL century at the age of 24 years and 51 days.
Manish Pandey is 9th in the list of youngest to score a century in IPL. That is.. along with three foreign batsmen, five Indian batsmen also scored centuries in IPL at a young age. Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant, Devdutt Padikal and Sanju Samson are in this list.
