Chennai Super Kings: Not having a single player from Tamil Nadu in the Chennai team is atrocious and asked directly why the Tamil Nadu Sports Department is not responding to this.
Bamaka MLA asked the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly to ban the Chennai Super Kings team, which does not have Tamils. With this, the agitation started in the assembly to cancel the Chennai Super Kings team. To this extent, the PMK party demanded in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.
Today in the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu there was a discussion on the sports department of that state. In that, Dharmapuri MLA Venkateswaran from Bamaga said that he demanded to ban the Chennai Super Kings team. It is alleged that they are getting benefit from people by promoting as Tamil Nadu team. He directly questioned why the Tamil Nadu sports department is not responding to the fact that there is not a single player from Tamil Nadu in the Chennai team.
It has been revealed that even though there are talented players in Tamil Nadu, the Chennai Super Kings team has not selected a single one and they are promoting as a Tamil Nadu team without Tamils. Bamaka MLA Venkateswaran said that they are doing this for their profit. Also, he insisted in the legislature that the Tamil Nadu government should ban the Chennai Super Kings team, which has no Tamils.
The MLAs of PMK party demanded that the team without a single Tamil player is useless and the Chennai team is only working for business profits in the name of sports and the state government should take immediate action against the Chennai team.
