Akshar Patel also remained unbeaten with 21 runs off 9 balls. The Indian bowlers bowled out the Lankans for 137 runs in 16.4 overs. With this, Team India won the match and the series by 2-1 with a difference of 91 runs. On behalf of India, Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets for 20 runs, while Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik and Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets each. Akshar Patel picked up one wicket, Akshar scored 117 runs and took 3 wickets in the entire series to win the man of the series award.
