ICC Awards 2022: The ICP Emerging Cricketer Award is only given to players below 26 years of age. ICC will give these awards every year in the year 2022. To this end, the ICC has announced the list of nominees for the Emerging Cricketer Award 2022.

  The International Cricket Council annually nominates players under the age of 26 for the Emerging Cricketer Award.  Similarly, ICC has released the nominee list for the award this year as well.  A total of four players have made a place in this list.. One of them is an Indian cricketer.  Let's take a look at the nominees for the ICC Young Player of the Year Award.

Marco Johnson: South Africa's young left-arm pacer played 9 Tests, 3 ODIs and 1 T20I this year and took a total of 40 wickets.  Marco Johnson (22) was selected for the Emerging Player Award as a result of such a brilliant performance.

Ibrahim Zadran: Afghanistan batsman Ibrahim Zadran (21) scored 356 runs in 4 Test matches and 431 runs in 8 ODI matches.  He played 16 T20 matches and scored a total of 381 runs.  As a result he was nominated for the ICP Emerging Cricketer Award.

Finn Allen: New Zealand fast bowler Finn Allen (23) scored 387 runs in 11 ODI matches and 567 runs in 25 T20 matches this year.  Finn Allen was selected for the ICC Emerging Award as a result of this impressive performance.

Arshadeep Singh: The 23-year-old left-arm pacer Arshadeep Singh, who made his debut for Team India this year, has given a fantastic performance.  Arshadeep, who started his career in 2022, played 21 T20 matches and took a total of 33 wickets.  For his outstanding performance, he has now been selected for the ICC Emerging Player Award.

Only players under the age of 26 are considered for the ICC Emerging Cricketer Award.  Accordingly this time Finn Allen, Arshdeep Singh, Ibrahim Jadran and Marco Johnson were selected for the final round.  We have to wait for a few more days to find out who will emerge as the best young cricketer this time.
