Common people don’t have one voter ID, but some people have two voter cards (in two separate areas). It has now become a sensation that a public representative has the right to vote in two places. Yes, MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has the right to vote in both constituencies. Congress leader G Niranjan made serious allegations on the same issue. Congress leader Nijran said that MP Asaduddin Owaisi had registered as a voter in two different assembly constituencies, which was against the rules of the Election Commission of India. Complaining on the same issue, he wrote a letter to the state’s Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar.

The letter stated that Asaduddin has the right to vote in Rajendra Nagar and Khairatabad assembly constituencies. Niranjan criticized the irresponsibility of Asaduddin, a member of parliament and representative of the people, and the negligence of the election machinery in publishing the final voter list. Meanwhile, Asaduddin Owaisi downloaded voter identity cards from the official website of the Election Commission of India and attached those credentials to his letter. Niranjan demanded that Asaduddin, who is holding a constitutional post, be registered as a voter in two constituencies like this, and action should be taken.
