KL Rahul, who played for Punjab Kings in the 2018 IPL season, completed his half century against Delhi Capitals in just 14 balls. This is the fastest half-century in IPL history. Rahul hit six fours and four sixes for this half century.
Pat Cummins representing Kolkata Knight Riders is second in this list. Last season (2022) he completed his half-century against the Mumbai Indians team in just 14 balls. Thus Pat Cummins equaled the record held by KL Rahul.
Also, Yusuf Pathan is third among the players who have scored the fastest half-century in IPL. Yusuf, who represented KKR in 2014, scored 50 runs in just 15 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Thus, he remains the third fastest player to score a half-century in the history of IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder and spin wizard Sunil Narine is also in this list. In 2017, Narine earned a place in this list by completing a 15-ball half-century against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
