Earthquake occurred in many parts of the country as well as in Afghanistan and Pakistan. These earthquakes took place in many parts of North India. This earthquake occurred in the national capital of Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ghaziabad, Punjab, Gurugram and Noida. The National Earthquake Study Center revealed that the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.9 on the Richter scale. But this earthquake also happened in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Scientists said the earthquake occurred 79 km south of Faizabad, Afghanistan. But its impact was seen from Pakistan to India. The ground shook around 8 pm on Friday night.

Officials have identified the epicenter of this earthquake at a depth of 200 kilometers in the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan. People were panicked after an earthquake occurred. They ran out of their houses in fear.

However, it seems that there was no loss of life or property even though the earthquake occurred in many parts of the country. Delhiites are sharing their experiences due to the earthquake with the netizens through social media like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
