Kanjhawala Hit and Run Case: The Kanjhawala hit and run case of Delhi is very much discussed. There are many questions in this matter whose answers have not been found till now. At present, the five arrested accused were presented in the court, after which they have been sent to police custody for four days. All the five accused were presented through video conferencing in Delhi’s Rohini court. Where the police had placed a demand before the court that the accused are yet to be interrogated in this case, that is why their police custody is needed.
Five days’ custody of the accused was sought from the Delhi Police. The police also told in the court that the information given by the driver Deepak was wrong, the accused kept roaming with the dead body for about two hours. Their CCTV footage has been taken from petrol pump and dhaba. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 304, 120B, 201.
The court asked the police why 5 days remand was needed, on which the police said that the investigation has to be carried forward. At the same time, the lawyer of the accused Manoj said in the court that he was sitting behind, he had no role in this incident. During this, the court asked whether there was any injury? To which I could not find the answer.
