Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy lashed out at some people who are spreading false propaganda saying that they are withdrawing pensions. He made it clear that no one’s pension will be taken away in the state. He concluded that only reverification is being done and no injustice will be done to any of the eligible people. He said that an audit should be done on pensions once in every six months. Only reverification will be done by giving notices.. He explained that the aim of our government is to get pensions to all those who are eligible. He said that some people are trying to make good deeds look bad. CM Jagan suggested that people should not believe this poisonous writing.. Collectors should counter the false propaganda.

In the previous government, the pension bill was only Rs.400 crores. He said that now the monthly pension bill has reached Rs.1770 crores. He said that in the previous government, pensions were given to only 39 lakh people, while in our government, pensions are given to 62 lakh people. He explained that in the previous government, the pension was only Rs.1000, but they are increasing the pension to Rs.2750.

CM Jagan said that this is a government that knows the hardships of farmers and the poor. He said that 2,79,065 people are getting pensions across the state. A total of Rs.590.91 crores is being deposited into the accounts by the CM from his camp office at the push of a button.
