We all know about ordering food online. Due to lack of time to cook, busy life…food is coming to the doorstep with one click. However.. sometimes poor quality food items come. This rarely happens. Recently a similar incident happened in Kerala. A young woman lost her life after ordering biryani online.. and eating that dish. This incident created a stir in the state. The Kerala government has taken a crucial decision regarding the death of a woman who ordered biryani online. The state health department has ordered an inquiry. There are suspicions that food poisoning may have happened in biryani. With this, the Kerala government has initiated these measures. The police registered a case based on the complaint filed by the deceased’s parents. According to the forensic report, further action will be taken, police said.
Taking this incident seriously, the Kerala Health Department has ordered an investigation. Apart from that, it ordered the Food Safety Commissioner to give a report on the incident. To this extent, Minister Veena George disclosed the details. Meanwhile, Anju Sri Parvathi, who visited Perumbas near Kasar God in Kerala, ordered food called ‘Kujimanti’ online. After eating this dish.. got food poisoning. The girl, who was being treated in a private hospital, was shifted from there to another hospital in Mangalore, Karnataka. She died while receiving treatment there.
A similar incident took place in Kozhikode a few days ago. A nurse from Kottayam Medical College died after eating food in a nearby hotel. Food poisoning is suspected to be the cause of her death. The Kerala government has taken these series of incidents seriously.
