Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi: Bharat Jodo Yatra to Jammu and Kashmir will reach in March. However, discussions were held between the National Conference and the Gupkar alliance to participate in this trip.
Bharat Jodo Yatra: The Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra is continuing on a short hiatus these days. This journey will start again next year. The party has also invited opposition leaders from Uttar Pradesh to join the yatra. However, there are reports that prominent opposition leaders are not participating in the yatra. Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra may have left him empty-handed in terms of opposition partners in Uttar Pradesh, but the situation has turned in his favor in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bharat Jodo Yatra will arrive in Jammu and Kashmir in the month of March. However, to participate in this, PDP and Gupkar Alliance from the National Conference decided to participate in this trip. Bharat Jodo Yatra is resting for 9 days. It will roar again next year on January 3, 2023. This trip started from Kanyakumari and will end in Kashmir.
Rahul will hoist the tricolor in Kashmir.
Congress leader and MP KC Venugopal, who reached Jammu to complete the preparations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra, said that Rahul Gandhi will unfurl the national flag in Kashmir once the Yatra reaches here. He confirmed that Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and Tarigami will participate in the trip. At the same time, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah announced their participation before the start of the trip.
This is the response of the National Conference.
Farooq Abdullah said that the Yatra will be welcomed as soon as it enters Lakhapur on the border of Jammu and Kashmir. Later, Omar Abdullah said that once party president Farooq Abdullah announced that everyone would participate in the party.
This is the response of PDP..
In this regard, former CM of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti said, “Today I have been invited to participate in Bharat Jodo Yatra along with Rahul Gandhi in Kashmir. I salute his indomitable courage. I believe that it is my duty to stand by the person who has the courage to resist the fascist forces.’
Situation in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress Samajwadi Party, Jayant Chaudhary’s Rashtriya Lok Dal and Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party have been invited. But, it seems that none of the main opposition is likely to participate. Jayant Choudhary has already announced that he will not be able to attend the Yatra due to his early schedule.
Former ally Akhilesh Yadav, who has distanced himself from the Congress, is also unlikely to attend the yatra. However, it is not clear whether he will send a representative. So, on the other hand, the possibility of BSP chief Mayawati also participating in this trip seems slim.
