Baba Ramdev: Patanjali company needs no introduction. The market has made a name for itself with a wide variety of products. But Patanjali company now produces palm oil itself. Baba Ramdev himself announced this.
Baba Ramdev: Renowned yoga guru Ramdev Baba visited Anaparthi Rangampet of East Godavari district. Interviews were conducted with local palm oil farmers. Oil Palm Plantation Nursery, Farmers were explained about Patanjali Mission of Oil Palm Plantation on 5 lakh hectares of land in the field. He said that efforts will be made to further increase the yield of palm oil in AP. Ramdev Baba said that he will give necessary training and technical assistance to the farmers for palm oil cultivation.
He visited the palm oil plantations of Rangampet mandal Donthamuru… and named the palm oil flavoring industry in Peddapuram as Patanjali industry. He said that palm oil is being cultivated in 1 lakh 50 thousand acres in the state and 30 percent of palm oil is cultivated in East Godavari district alone. Ramdev Baba said that arrangements are being made to increase this cultivation. Farmers have been advised to increase the production of 75 tons per hour to 200 tons per hour.
