The Uttar Pradesh government has appointed a high-level investigation committee to investigate the murders of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf. Retired Allahabad High Court Judge Tripathi along with Subesh Kumar and Brijesh Kumar Soni were appointed as members of the inquiry committee. The committee will give a report in two months.
