In this, the Election Commission has announced the schedule of assembly elections in the northeastern states of Nagaland, Tripura and Meghalaya. CEC Rajeev Kumar revealed that elections will be held in Tripura on February 16.

He said that the results of the three states will be counted on March 2. There are 60 assembly seats in all the three states.
