Chandrababu Naidu: Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Kuppam led to tension. In the background of the government’s order that it is not possible to conduct roadshows and meetings on the roads without permission, the DSP handed over notices to Chandrababu Chandrababu that there is no permission to conduct the road show. Chandrababu Naidu expressed anger over this. He asked why he did not go to his own constituency. Why permission was not given for the road show? DSP Sudhakar was showered with questions saying whether these people will trouble the public. According to JV1, there are restrictions on meetings and roadshows on the roads and the police advised to follow the rules. In this order, TDP activists raised slogans against the police and the government. With this, Chandrababu Naidu addressed the party ranks and the media there. CM YS. Jaganmohan Reddy, however, criticized that roadshow and assembly was organized in Rajamahendravaram. He asked why there is a difference in the rules for the ruling parties and the opposition parties. He said that he had written a letter to the DGP about his visit a month before. Chandrababu questioned the government and the police saying that he won seven times as an MLA and should not argue with the people of his constituency.
On the other hand, there was tension at Gudduru Cross in Shantipuram mandal. Police are stopping TDP workers who are going to Chandrababu Naidu’s assembly. Chandrababu’s assembly is not allowed and the police advised that no one should go to the assembly. In this order, an argument took place between the police and the TDP leaders.
