However, the people who were there found that many of the staff working there had stolen essential items from Annadanam. A complaint was made to the police. As a result, the police entered the field and conducted inspections at the houses of executive officer Venkatesh, some other temple officials and staff. Also, two head cooks and their assistants also conducted inspections in the houses.
Later, the police seized a huge quantity of essential goods and sacks of rice. Also, when the temple priests inspected Krishna Mohan’s residence, they were surprised to find a deer skin. Immediately the priests seized the skin and arrested Krishna Mohan. It seems that the forest department officials who responded to this incident have stepped into the field and are currently investigating the matter secretly.
