He scored 62 runs off 23 balls with 4 fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 269.56. Josh put on a 73-run partnership with Nathan McSwany (84) for the second wicket. Josh started playing grade cricket at the age of 22 in Brisbane. He made his debut for the Northern Suburbs club. The 2020-21 season has been the highlight of Josh’s career. He played 53 matches. He scored 1643 runs at an average of 34.23. It includes 3 centuries and 10 half-centuries. He also took 21 wickets. Apart from cricket, he also has expertise in making bats. He also did a course for this.
Along with his own bat, he also makes and repairs bats for other players. ‘I love making cricket bats. I make 100 bats every year. I will repair 1000 bats’ he said. Josh enjoys fishing and golfing.

Brisbane Heat registered their second win in six matches of the current BBL season. Brisbane Heat beat Sydney Sixers by 15 runs. Brisbane Heat won the toss and batted first to score 224/5. Later, the Sydney Sixers lost 10 wickets in 20 overs and scored 209 runs. James Vince and Jordan Silk scored 41 runs each. Michael Najer took 3 wickets. This is the third defeat for Sydney Sixers in 7 matches. After winning 4 matches in a row, the team suffered its first defeat.
